Fleur du Fresne
Fleur is a qualified Naturopath, having graduated from Wellpark College with a Bachelor of Naturopathy in 2014. This life changing three year experience has allowed her to combine her love of whole foods and herbal medicine in a way that can benefit the community.
Good food has always been a big part of her life and whilst living in Melbourne Fleur was involved in the start-up of Naked Treaties – a food company that supplied raw vegan treats to organic stores and cafes throughout Victoria.
Whilst studying, Fleur worked at Little Bird’s Kinglsand café. Fleur found their approach to food and health incredibly inspiring and it has shaped much of Fleur's own practice.
Fleur lives with her husband in Napier and believes that the foundation of good health is good food. She believes small realistic changes can bring about great results.
Since graduating with a BA in Theatre and Film Gretta has dedicated herself to food, healing and health.
She has worked in various guises including co-director of Wellington based The Organic Catering Company, researcher to OANZ (Organic Aotearoa New Zealand), Project Manager to Te Waka Kai Ora overseeing the development of the Hua Parakore Organic Verification Programme and member of the Aotearoa delegation to the Terra Madre International Slow Food Meeting of Indigenous Food Producers in Italy 2008.
Gretta has a National Diploma in Biodynamic Organic Agriculture and has spent many happy hours over the years in abundant organic gardens.
Gretta is also a qualified Classical Homeopath running a clinical practice in Hawkes Bay since 2012. She has 3 children who have grown up on her family's sheep and cattle farm in Rissington.
