Our version of the famous chocolate whose name alludes to the Pacific Island bounty of cacao and coconut. This raw vegan treat is made with entirely organic ingredients and is sweetened with low glycemic rice malt and maple syrup.
The recipe is entirely the creation of the ever clever Nelly Pegler who concocted it just days before we opened the doors of the shop to the public. The Hapī Bounteousness Bar was named as one of Hawke's Bays Top 11 Dishes by the lovely Jesse Mulligan in his recent trip to the Bay and we suspect he munched his way through a few while he was here.
A relatively guilt free substitute for the mid afternoon chocolate bar grabbed by so many to get them through their afternoon slump and a satisfying treat for the sweet toothed among us all.
Ingredients: Raw Cacao*, Coconut*, Dates*, Rice Syrup*, Maple Syrup*, Vanilla Extract*, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil*, Almonds, Cacao Butter, Sea salt. (*certified organic or wildcrafted)
