Sofia is an amazing cook straight out of Lisbon making traditional, authentic Portuguese food for us on Fridays at Hapori Community Dining Room. Seating available from 11:30 until 1:30pm. These lunches will be ongoing every Friday, with only 30 seats available at her debut lunches. Sofia's menu will change weekly and vegetarian and gluten fee option is available.
In Sofia's words;
“In Portugal bread is life! Bread comes with pretty much every Portuguese meal. As a starter, dipped in olive oil with a sprinkle of sea salt and rosemary or with a sardine spread; as part of the meal as a vehicle for the amazing sauces in the Portuguese cuisine. Bread is the main ingredient of many traditional Portuguese dishes such as “açorda” and “ensopado”. Bread, or forms of it, will be present in the dishes I will present to you. Bread and so much more! This will be a journey into flavours of simplicity, balance and richness that will dazzle you.
“Portuguese Tapas are on the menu this week which features Mediterranean lamb meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, eggplant and capsicum mini bruschettas, seasoned olives and carrot salad".
