We make an enormous batch of kimchi most weeks using organic carrots, daikon, and wong bok. It's a flavourful country-style kimchi that gets a thumbs up from our Korean visitors at the Hawke's Bay Farmer's Market which is about the best review we think we can get! We are proud to now be using our homegrown organic wong bok. Eating kimchi and other fermented foods is a great way to introduce gut healing probiotics to our digestive system. Store below 4c for up to 3 months (forever actually but it's always good to finish the jar huh).
This kimchi is so good! It has the perfect amount of spicy kick to it without being overpowering and the ingredients they use still has a nice bite to it!
Delicious on its own, or I add it to my stir fries to give them a little bit of a kick. Best Kimchi I've tasted. Highly recommend.
